There are plenty of cool fitness apps you can use!

 

Nike+ Running 

Nike+ Running is a free app that records your running distance, pace, and time. You can also plan out your path, making it a great app for walking or biking as well. If you have friends who run, you can connect with them to see how they've been doing, and try to beat them!

Calorie Counter & Diet Tracker by MyFitnessPal

The Calorie Counter & Diet Tracker by MyFitness Pal is a free app that tracks your daily calories, weight, and the foods you eat. It has a large food and brand database, so you can easily find the foods you eat. You can connect with others using the app and even create your own customized foods, goals, and exercises. 

Waterlogged

Waterlogged is a free app that helps you track your daily water intake. Only about 34% of Americans get enough water each day, and it's detrimental to your health. This app helps you set a daily water goal, and tracks how much of your goal you have left. You can also set reminders to drink water, and record glasses by taking pictures of your favorite water containers. 

Performance Stretching

Performance Stretching is a app for $2.99 that's worth the price. It shows you how to stretch the right way, and comes up with specific stretches that you should preform for whatever physical activity you are planning. It also includes some great post-workouts to cool down you muscles and lessen soreness. 

Fitness Buddy

Fitness Buddy is a workout app for $1.99. It features over 1,700 workouts for its users. You can use this app to track your workouts, as well as help with ideas. There are workouts built in, or you can create your own custom ones. It also has a body map to tell you just what muscles and parts of the body you're exercising. 

Moves

Moves is a free app that tracks your daily activity. It can tell you how much you walk, bike, run, and basically move each day. You can map out your day so you have an estimate of how much you'll be moving or make a path for running/biking. It even keeps a record of your steps, and lets you know when you break it. 

 
Runkeeper

Runkeeper is a free app that helps you keep track of your running. It makes tracking your workouts fun, easy, and social, and helps you get a better quality run. Runkeeper will record your time, distance, and even your pace. You can also see how many calories you've burned, and what your average time is for your run, so you can improve. 

Yoga Studio

Yoga Studio is yoga app for $2.99. It that helps you create and learn yoga routines. If you are new to yoga, the app gives in depth descriptions of moves ranging from a beginner to advanced level. With Yoga Studio, you can download classes that help you with strength, flexibility, balance, and relaxation. If you're looking looking to get fit without doing a tradtional workout, Yoga Studio is a great app for you.

Tempo Run

Most people don't realize that music is a great way to motivate exercise. This is where Tempo Run (which costs $2.99) comes in use. This app looks through your library of music and figures out each song's tempo. It then, categorizes the music into different categories based on their tempo. This way it's easy for you to choose the music best suited for your running speed.
